PDFs and passwords
PDF Locker, published by PDF Locker, processes the PDF files and passwords you choose locally on your device. PDF Locker does not upload PDF contents or passwords to the developer. Passwords are used to encrypt the selected PDF and are not stored. Protected copies remain in the app's private storage until you delete them or uninstall the app.
Advertising
PDF Locker uses Google Mobile Ads and Google's User Messaging Platform. Depending on your region, consent choices, device settings, and the ads served, Google and its partners may process information such as device or advertising identifiers, IP-derived approximate location, diagnostics, and ad interactions to deliver, measure, personalize where permitted, and protect advertising. Where available, you can revisit consent choices through Privacy options in the app.
Sharing and saving
When you choose Share or Save copy, Android sends the protected PDF only to the app or storage location you select. This action is initiated and controlled by you.
Retention and deletion
PDF Locker does not require an account. You can delete individual protected PDFs from the vault. Uninstalling the app deletes its private local vault. Advertising providers retain data according to their own policies and your applicable choices.
Security
Protected PDFs use AES-256 encryption. App-private storage and Android document-sharing controls are used to limit access. No method of storage or processing can guarantee absolute security.
Children
PDF Locker is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children.
Changes
This policy may be updated when the app or its service providers change. The effective date will be revised when material changes are published.
